The total number of different callsigns submitting entries across the series was 256 (41 Section AO, 149 Section AR and 66 Section AL). This was 1.5% down on the figure for 2022. The number of monthly entries varied between 120 (July) and 68 (December) with an average of 106 (three up on 2022) and was fairly constant between January and July but, apart from an upward blip in November, declined steadily thereafter. The total number of DXCC entities worked across the series was 14 (DL, EA, EI, G, GD, GI, GJ, GM, GU, GW, LA, ON, OZ and PA) from 29 big squares. The best DX took place between GM4JTJ (IO86) and OH4MS (KP24) at 1710km in both the November and December sessions.

Looking at club results, taking first place in the General Club section was Northern Fells CG for the third consecutive year, with Wirral & DARC in second place for the second consecutive year. In the Local Club section, the leading and second placed entrants swapped places, with Parallel Lines taking first place and Hereford ARS second.

Moving on to individual results, the leading entrant in the Open section was G4FZN/P (for the second consecutive year), followed by G4ASR in second place for the third year running. In the Restricted section, the leading place was taken by G4CLA for the eighth consecutive year, followed by G3TBK/P with a substantial rise from 61st place. In the Low Power section, first place was taken by GW1YBB/P for the third consecutive year, followed by G0WUS/P for the second year running.

The station providing the greatest number of entrants with their best DX (200) was GI4SNA.

Well, that's it for the 2023 4m UKAC series - hope to see you on the band in the 2024 season!
